Opening the online procedure

The "Direction de l’Education Nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports" informs parents of children attending state schools in the Principality who meet certain conditions that they can benefit from a canteen allowance from Tuesday 30 August 2022, and submit their application online.

The procedure is available from the address https://aides.gouv.mc/aides/#/monaco/connecte/dashboard/accueil or on MonGuichet.mc (section Education), the Government of Monaco and Monaco City Council's portal for online procedures.

Pupils belonging to one of the categories below may apply for the canteen allowance:

• Pupils of Monegasque nationality or who, if they are foreign nationals, have the option of opting for Monegasque nationality
• Pupils of foreign nationality who are either born of a Monegasque ascendant, or come from a household where one of the parents is Monegasque, or are dependent on a Monegasque national
• Pupils of foreign nationality who are either dependants or orphans of a State or Commune employee, or of an employee of a public establishment or of a French Service established by Treaty in the Principality for at least five years, whether active or retired and, in the latter case, living in Monaco or in the neighbouring communes.
• Pupils of foreign nationality whose parents have lived in Monaco for at least 10 years

 The parents must meet one of the following conditions:

• Father widowed, divorced or separated, or mother widowed, divorced or separated
• Family where both parents work
• Family with at least three children living at home

People who have an active digital identity on their new identity card or residence permit will be able to connect securely to their personal account using the MConnect service.

If you do not have a computer, you can submit your request using a form that can be downloaded online from MonServiePublic.mc under the heading "How to apply for a subsidy for canteen" or obtained from the reception of the Direction de l'Education Nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports ("National Education, Youth and Sports Department") on Avenue de l'Annonciade.
